OUr Policies
East Corner Industries is selective by design. We choose partners carefully, working almost exclusively on a referral basis. These policies are not about liability or legal positioning. They exist to show our values and what clients can expect when working with us. If these standards also matter to you, we will work well together.
Client-First Partnership
When we say “client-first,” we mean long-term outcomes over short-term wins. We recommend what we believe is right, not what is easiest to sell. We do not oversell capability or create dependency through obscurity. If a better solution exists outside our involvement, we will say so. Our goal is not to be indispensable, but to make the 2a/preparedness community stronger and more effective.
Trust, Confidentiality, and R&D Respect
We routinely operate around unreleased products, early-stage R&D, internal strategy, and sensitive operational details. Any non-public information shared with us is treated as confidential by default, regardless of whether a formal NDA exists. We do not disclose client R&D, internal processes, pricing strategy, or developmental direction without explicit permission. We believe discretion is part of professionalism.
Intellectual Property & Creative Integrity
Clients retain indefeasible and unrevocable ownership of their media, branding, and digital assets. East Corner Industries retains ownership of our processes, frameworks, and creative methods. This allows us to improve our craft without compromising a client’s competitive advantage. Client-specific designs and branding are never repurposed in a way that exposes or recreates protected intellectual property.
Conflict Awareness & Deconfliction
We work in a highly interconnected industry; Overlap is sometimes unavoidable. If we become aware that multiple clients are unknowingly converging on similar products, capabilities, or initiatives, we will proactively attempt to deconflict. This may include adjusting scope, separating deliverables, or limiting our own exposure to sensitive information. If meaningful deconfliction is not possible, priority is given to the client with the longer-standing working relationship. WE have never had to invoke this, but it is a core value we’ve decided ahead of time.
Direct Communication & Professional Integrity
We communicate clearly, directly, and in good faith. Risks, tradeoffs, and constraints are discussed openly. We do not participate in misrepresentation, manufactured hype, or deceptive marketing. If we identify ethical, safety, or reputational concerns tied to a project, we raise them, even when doing so is uncomfortable.
